Feeling Hot Hot Hot at Le Bon Marché

Winter is no longer coming, it’s officially here. It’s cold, it’s gray and it’s gloomy. Like every year, Parisians are rushing off to their GPs to ask for those magical little vials of vitamin D. Moods are far from admirable, as we all long for the terraces and picnics of warmer days.

Some are lucky enough to jet off to more temperate exotic locations. As for the rest of us who have used up our vacation days, we’ve got to get a bit more creative.

If you’re looking for a little something to brighten your day, the perfect staycation starts at Le Bon Marché.

Until February 21, 2015, Le Bon Marché is teaming up with The Webster Miami to present an exclusive collection for the “mois du blanc”. The famous mois du blanc dates back to 1873, when Le Bon Marché’s founder Aristide Boucicault came up with the unique idea to fill empty post-holiday shelves with limited edition white items. Gaining much popularity with fashionable Parisians, the event has since then become a yearly tradition.

This year, le mois du blanc takes us on an exciting voyage to one of the US’s hottest cities: Miami. A collaboration with iconic concept store The Webster is turning Le Bon Marché into a veritable Floridian paradise with touches of white sand, palm trees and adorable pink flamingoes.
